Hire charges, deposits and payment terms
The charges shown must be paid by the dates specified. These charges will
refer to the dates shown.
We accept cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer or cash.
A booking deposit must be taken to confirm a hire date, which is nonrefundable
but will be deducted off the total hire charge. If the hire is
cancelled, we have the option to return the deposit only if the Hot tub is hired
out to another customer for the same hire period. Any costs incurred by Hot
Tub Hire due to damage caused to the hot tub, excessive cleaning, broken, or
non-working parts will be paid by the Hirer.
Hire Periods
The full hire period is the dates shown on the hire contract or as agreed in
communication Emails between Hirer and Hot Tub Hire.
At the end of the full hire period, goods not made available for collection will be
placed back on hire for a further hire period and at the same hire charge. You
must pay us the extra charges when we ask for them, to include any additional
costs incurred.
The contract comes into effect once a deposit has been paid by paying the
deposit you agreeing to our Terms and Conditions which are published on our
website & facebook page.
Electrical goods
If any part of the goods is electrical, it should be used with the original plugs
and sockets fitted to it.
If the goods break down or are not working properly you must report this to us
immediately. You must not use the goods or repair them unless we have agreed
otherwise.
You must tell us immediately if the goods are involved in any accident resulting
in damage to the goods or to other property, or injury to any person.
Your responsibility when hiring goods
You must assist us in the delivery and collection at your location. You must give
us clear instructions and take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of our
people. We accept no responsibility for any damage or injuries caused.
The hirer will supply the electricity and water for the equipment in the hire
period. You must make sure you have a suitable supply of electricity and it must
be within proximity. We can supply extension cables and hosepipes if required.
We require a flat level base to sit the hot tub on: this can be slabbed, concrete,
blocks, decking or any firm hard standing. Grassed areas are not ideal but can
be used. Great care must be taken not to get grass or soil in the water as this
will spoil the enjoyment. Although our hire tubs are approx 1900mm diameter
they need a minimum space of 2300mm x 2300mm for safety. You must ensure
that there is enough access to get the spa into your chosen space, if access is
not possible there will under no circumstances, be any refunds.
The hirer will inspect the equipment with Hot Tub Hire and note and sign for
any damage on the equipment. You become responsible for the goods when
you receive the hired equipment. Please take extra care to stop sharp objects
from being around or in the hot tub and prevent people from jumping in or on
the hot tub. Do not use glasses in the tub or place any foreign object in the Tub.
Do not enter the Hot Tub wearing shoes. Children must be supervised when
using the Hot Tub. Pregnant women and people with blood pressure issues
should check with a Doctor about using the Hot Tub. If in any doubt do not use
the Hot Tub.
You will be supplied with ample chemicals for the duration of your hire period,
do not use or add any other chemicals to the water other than chemicals
supplied by Hot Tub Hire. Do not add bubble bath, foam bath or washing up
liquid of any description. Failing to comply with these instructions may cause
serious damage to your skin or body and will also put the Hot Tub out of action
for some time.
The hirer will add chemicals required to maintain the water in the hot tub and
understand the risks involved in not maintaining the water as per the
manufacturerʼs instructions.
You must not sell or in any way give up control of the goods.
The hirer will not allow anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs to use
the equipment. The hirer will not attempt to or move the equipment from the
location that the owner has placed it. The hirer will not tamper or adjust any
aspect of the equipment mechanics or electrics. You will be responsible for any
death, injury, loss or damage caused by the goods being misused while they
are hired to you.
Gazebo
The Gazebos we use for hire are enough to cover the hot Tub and allow room
around the Hot Tub to get in and out of the Hot Tub. They have sides which can
be used or not dependant on what the hirer requires. They can be removed or
added very easily by the hirer. The gazebo frame is aluminium construction and
is “pop up”. If you hire a gazebo from us there is an additional responsibility in
looking after it especially if the weather is windy. The gazebo will not be
erected in high winds and should be taken down if the wind speed increases.
We will erect the gazebo on delivery but only if the weather is suitable (i.e. very
little wind). The gazebo is not a permanent structure and by the very nature of
them they can be damaged easily in some weather conditions especially wind.

It is the hirerʼs responsibility to look after the gazebo and if required to take it
down to avoid damage should the weather conditions change to make it
unsuitable for the erection of the gazebo.
Safety instructions when hiring goods
You must make sure that everyone who uses the goods is properly instructed
on how to use them safely and correctly, and that they have all the instructions
we have supplied. You must make sure the goods are not misused.
You must ensure everyone using the goods is in a sound healthy and fit state or
have the permission of their doctor where appropriate. Users must not be
under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Supervision should be provided where
appropriate.
Limits of our liability
All the times and dates we quote for delivering or collecting the goods are
approximate. We will not be liable for any delays caused by circumstances
beyond our reasonable control.
If the goods breakdown or stop working, we will determine the problem as soon
as possible, after you have reported it to us, and then try to replace them or
repair the fault as soon as reasonably possible.
We will not be liable for any injury or damage caused to your property.
If you hire the goods for use in a business, we will not be liable for any indirect
loss or any loss of business or profits, savings you expect to make, wages, fees
or expenses caused by the goods or any part of them breaking down or
stopping working properly.
Lost, stolen, damaged or unclean hired goods
You are responsible for looking after the goods and returning them to us in
good working order as they were received in. You must pay to us the cost of
replacing any goods, which are lost or stolen or damaged beyond economic
repair. You should insure the goods for the replacement cost. If you receive any
money as settlement of any claim relating to the damage or loss or theft of the
goods, you must hold that money separately in trust for us and pay it to us
when we ask you to. You must not negotiate any claim without our permission.
Our rights of access
We may enter any land or premises where we reasonably believe the goods are.
We may do this at reasonable times and after giving reasonable notice. We can
only have access if we need to inspect, test, repair, service, replace or
repossess the goods.
Other terms
If any term in this contract cannot be enforced or agreed, then the hire of Hot
Tub Hire
equipment will not be supplied.
Any variation of the above terms is by written agreement between Hot Tub Hire
and the hirer and this must be signed by both parties.
All Equipment always remains the property of Hot Tub Hire.
Health and Safety
The health and safety matters are important and are for your safety. Please
make all users of the Hot Tub aware of the health and safety matters.
1. Do not get into the Hot Tub wearing any footwear.
2. It is best to shower before using the Hot Tub (keeps the water as clean as
possible)
3. Do not use any bubble bath, washing up liquid or anything that will produce
soap suds or similar. (It will take the Tub out of action for us for a week and
incur a charge for cleaning and rinsing)
4. Try and keep grass and soil or any foreign object out of the Tub. Soil will
make the water dirty and it will not look inviting to use. Chlorine has no effect
on such things.
5. Food will clog the pump if sucked into the pipe work so best not to eat
anything in the tub.
6. If drinking in the tub use plastic glasses (safety) and remember any spillages
will go in the water and may cause decolourisation and cause the water to
smell.
7. When not in use keep the cover on, it will keep the heat in and leaves etc out!
8. The water level must not fall below the level of the filter housing (if it is going
to happen its when a few people get out at the same time) if it does happen
switch off and top up with water (Hot water can be used but if cold used people
are unlikely to notice the small change in temperature.) Keeping the hose pipe
near by may be handy.
9. Keep it plugged in all the time. Keeping it switched on is mainly for water
circulation as well as keeping the water at the set temperature. When not in use
the Hot Tub should be set to AUTO.
10. Please do not sit on the cover when not in use and keep it clean.
11. Please look after the Hot Tub whilst in your possession, if looked after and
the water is kept clean it will not cause any problems for you.
